EVENT UPDATE: 14th May 2011

Yesterday saw a fabulous turnout here at the museum. The sun was shining and the crowds were building as people from the UK, Europe and even as far as Pakistan flocked to us to see the worlds LARGEST Flight Simulator Convention. We were spoilt for choice on what to look at, talk about, watch and play with.

 

We had displays and talks from: 

 

• virtual Red Arrows, comprising of a 9 ship display for the crowds
• VATSIM-UK and EuroCenter vACC providing virtual Air traffic control for the sim pilots around Bristol & Cardif
• A Visit by the Avon & Somerset Police ASU, A Eurocopter EC135 landed on our pad
• Great Western Air Ambulance made it after having a busy morning around the area
• Combat demonstrations from the virtual Royal Air Force
• Plus new product demonstrations from Saitek, Flightstore and much much more!

NOT FORGETTING the 60's & 70's disco!
